Access, weather and drying conditions affect exterior decorating. Any scaffolding or specialist access needs will be discussed when quoting, along with repairs that need attention before painting can proceed.
Doors & garage doors
Exterior door and garage-door preparation and repainting, with coatings selected for the surface. A colour change can give the frontage a coordinated look.
Windows & exterior woodwork
Decorating painted window frames, surrounds, trim and gable details. Unsound coatings and visible defects are assessed as part of the preparation scope.
Gates & fences
Painting or staining suitable timber gates and fences. The existing finish, timber condition and whether stripping is needed are discussed before the work is priced.

When can exterior decorating be carried out?
The timing depends on suitable weather, the product being used and the condition of the surface. Exterior dates may need to move if rain, temperature or drying conditions are unsuitable.
Will I need scaffolding?
That depends on the height and access. Brad will discuss safe access and any scaffolding or tower requirements during the quotation process, including how they are allowed for.
Can an old finish be painted over?
Sometimes, after suitable preparation. Loose coatings, incompatible finishes or damaged timber may require more work first. Photos help with the initial discussion, but a visit may be needed.
